The bed proved uncomfortable. i could feel the springs, so my sleep was poor. another issue, the room lacked accessible power outlets near the bed. i found only three outlets in the entire room, all inconveniently located on the opposite side. One was dedicated to the television, another to the kettle, leaving just one spare. this arrangement made charging devices rather difficult.

I noted Henry's bar and grill is next door. Its decor is lovely. The menu seems designed for big eaters. A child's menu is an option.
the hotel sent a confirmation about our dog. that was really GOOD. our ground floor room was quite spacious and met our needs. i appreciated how quiet it was, despite facing the main road. i never heard ANY traffic.
the digital thermostat in my room did NOT function properly. i could not adjust the temperature as needed. it was a bit of a nuisance .

The location is very convenient near the motorway junction. Plenty of parking is available. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff offered a warm welcome. Colette from reception was kind. She helped me when my car broke down! I was grateful for her assistance. The room was very clean. The bed was really comfortable.
