charming country stay

wooden beams quiet location working bathroom fittings

the bedroom had character with wooden beams. the location was quiet. the bathroom fittings were in good working order, given a victorian look. (i liked this touch!). the free parking was a plus for walkers on the chiltern way.

amazing breakfast lovely pub garden beautiful walks

the breakfast was amazing!!! the village is beautiful. the pub garden was a lovely spot. there are beautiful walks to the river from the doorstep. i was charmed by this place.

the soft mattress was a known issue, according to the staff, which impacted my sleep.
