Hartwell House & Spa offers 48 rooms and suites, each individually designed with antique furniture and fine paintings. Accommodations are located in the main house, Hartwell Court (the restored 18th-century riding school and stables), and The Old Rectory. Royal Rooms in the main house feature king-size beds and views of the parkland and lake. Hartwell Court suites have direct garden access. The Old Rectory, set in two acres of private garden, includes four en-suite bedrooms, a drawing room with French doors, a kitchen, a dining room (seats 10), and a boardroom (seats 10); children ages 6 years and above are welcome; children between the ages of 6 and 16 years may use the swimming pool at specified times when accompanied by an adult.
Dining Options
The hotel features the 2 AA Rosette Soane Room restaurant, serving a seasonal menu with ingredients sourced locally. Executive Head Chef Daniel Richardson creates dishes that guests can select by choice and by budget. Breakfast includes continental and full English options. Afternoon Tea is served in the Morning Room, Drawing Room, or Library. Saturday Luncheon includes a seasonal menu. Sunday Luncheon includes traditional roast options. Private dining is available in The Octagon Room (up to 18 people), The Doric Room, and The James Wyatt Room (up to 60 people).
Leisure and Spa
Guests have access to the Hartwell Spa, which includes an indoor heated swimming pool, spa bath, steam room, gymnasium, and tennis courts. Spa treatments feature 111SKIN and Jessica products. Children aged 6 to 16 years can use the swimming pool at specific times. The hotel is set in over 90 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland designed by Richard Woods.
