Location and Activities
Located in the heart of Berkhamsted, The Kings Arms is a 10-minute walk from the train station and 30 km from London Luton Airport. Guests can visit the ruins of Berkhamsted Castle, where the Anglo-Saxons surrendered to William the Conqueror in 1066. Ashridge Woods is 5.5 km away. “Kings Arms Hotel, a former 18th-century coaching inn in Berkhamsted, is known for its historic charm and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine; the open kitchen and glass ceiling in the elegant dining space create a special ambiance. In my opinion, the dog-friendly rooms and the proximity to Berkhamsted Castle and Ashridge Woods add to its appeal. It's a cozy and characterful choice for travelers.”
