i stayed for several days with my family. our room included a big balcony. the location provided easy access to the borromean islands.
the minibar charges automatically when you touch items. i had a debate at checkout regarding false charges. the staff cancelled some charges.

the hotel's location proved Convenient. it was near local attractions and offered easy access to transport.
i was NOT pleased with some aspects of the room. the air conditioning barely worked. it was HOT, especially during the day. plus, the room service menu was limited, offering few choices for dinner.

The breakfast facilities at the restaurant were quite nice. I enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the pool. Location to local spots was good too. A Lovely hotel on Lago Maggiore.
The room felt a bit cramped. There were no coffee or tea facilities provided in the room. The bathroom had issues. It featured only a very high bathtub. I found it necessary to be very careful while getting into and out of it.
