The location was acceptable. It allowed for convenient walks into town.

I found the front desk service unwelcoming upon arrival. I inquired about the shuttle to the train station for the next day, but the staff member pointed to a board behind us. I also expected a fresher breakfast given the price, however, the choices seemed somewhat stale.

superb stay

balcony arrangement mini cakes turndown service indoor pool

the location is indeed excellent, situated near the center yet removed from the main street's hustle. the staff responded quickly to messages and arranged a room change to include a balcony. i appreciated the daily mini cakes and evening turndown service. breakfast offered a great selection and the indoor pool was very inviting.

The system did not record the room change and it looked there were two rooms. This caused some delay.

The hotel benefits from a superb location. The train station is only 5 minutes away. the gornergrat track is also conveniently located alongside the hotel. This offers both accessibility and scenic views .

The hotel provides large, spacious rooms, and several rooms even have a terrace. from the terrace, i could observe the trains. the hotel's front side offers views of the matterhorn. This enhanced the overall experience.

The staff was helpful and friendly. They ensured seamless transfers from the train station. i was guided throughout my stay by a very amazing and passionate person. there were clear signs of genuine care from the staff.

spacious room breakfast variety crowded pool electrical issues

The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast had a great variety of options each day (I enjoyed the fresh pastries!).

The hotel did not communicate with me prior to arrival regarding the shuttle service. The pool was quite crowded at times (it was hard to find a lounger). The refreshment area in the room had some electrical issues, so the fridge did not work properly.

The spa is complimentary for hotel guests and features a mixed environment as well as a naked zone. Children are permitted in the hay sauna next to the outdoor pool, which requires bath cloths. The spa is open from 3 PM to 8 PM daily.

What are the specific hours of the indoor and outdoor pools? I'm planning a visit soon.
