Alpen Resort & Spa offers rooms and suites. The Panorama Double Room features a balcony with a direct view of the Matterhorn, two single beds convertible to a double, a sitting area that converts to a sofa bed, large wardrobes, a safe, a 32-inch TV, a desk, a telephone, and a minibar. The bathroom includes a bathtub with a shower. The Family Suite with Garden, located in the chalet, includes two bedrooms with convertible single/double beds, a living room with a sofa bed, two toilets, large cupboards, a safe, a telephone, a coffee and tea maker, a minibar, a hair dryer, a bathrobe, an LCD TV, and Wi-Fi. Standard amenities in all rooms include ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a sitting area, free toiletries, an electric kettle, an AM/FM alarm clock, a flat-screen TV, and carpeted or parquet floors.

Onsite Dining

Restaurant Matterhorn provides Swiss specialties and international dishes, with wines from the cellar. Guests can order menu items à la carte or select individual components. Vegetarian, children's, and gluten-free options are available upon request. The Grill Restaurant HORNOX offers grilled dishes. The hotel bar provides drinks for various tastes. Alpen Resort & Spa is 650 m from Zermatt and 80 km from Sion. It is near the railway station, Gornergrat station, and ski lifts, 300 meters from the train station and the Gornergrat Bahn. The hotel is located in traffic-free Zermatt. From Zermatt train station, the hotel shuttle is available between 7 AM and 9 PM. By car, guests can drive to Täsch, five km from Zermatt, and use taxi services to reach the entrance of Zermatt. Daily train connections from surrounding airports arrive at the Zermatt terminus.
