The hotel stands beautifully within parkland beside the river thames. i was pleased our room offered modern conveniences. Streaming from personal devices worked seamlessly on the tv. i could readily enjoy entertainment after a long day.

The breakfast caused disappointment as food seemed to have been sitting out for an extended period. eggs felt quite dry. I prefer fresher offerings.

the main building had a wonderful interior (i especially loved the decor). the grounds adjoined the thames. my dietary needs were catered for superbly at breakfast.

the bar was a bit quiet in the evening, so a cab ride into town was necessary.

I found my room immaculate and spacious. the nespresso machine was a welcome addition, and i enjoyed fresh biscuits daily. breakfast had a wide array of choices. I especially appreciated the hot food options.. they were plentiful. the staff greeted me with really good politeness. I felt welcomed.

I noticed some paths are near ground floor rooms. people can see inside. I needed to close the blinds while changing.

the rooms were super clean, i loved the nespresso machine and the biscuits provided! the lady at reception showed us exactly where to park (it was closest to our room!). the grounds were beautiful, and i could see boats on the river thames!
