shuttle bus breakfast buffet laundry room great staff

The hotel provided a shuttle bus service to the station every hour. This helped a lot. The hotel is also very close to the fish market. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its fresh Western and Japanese options. I also found a laundry room conveniently located on my floor.

The room was spacious and beautifully designed. The curtains lowered automatically with one pull of a cord. The waterfall shower and bathtub made the bathroom luxurious. The hotel's proximity to the Omicho market made it easy to find local food.

The hotel charged a cover fee at the bar before ordering drinks.

The hotel staff held our luggage before check-in so we could explore the city right away. An English speaker checked us in efficiently and a staff member walked us to our room without us asking. Our luggage was already waiting there too.

free drinks serene ambience

the rooms were nice and big. the hotel gave free non-alcoholic drinks in the minibar and i appreciate that i could choose the level of cleaning i preferred. the central garden added a serene overall ambience to my stay. markets were within walking distance and it was easy to walk most places from the hotel.

i think the breakfast was unsatisfactory for dinner because i want dinner options.

street noise unhelpful staff

I was underwhelmed by a few things . I found the lack of soundproofing quite bothersome. Street noise was very audible even from the higher floors, disrupting sleep. Breakfast, while plentiful, didn't impress me much considering the price. I definitely had better sushi just a short walk away at the market. The staff also seemed a bit unhelpful, and struggled with English communication. It's disappointing for a hotel with such a luxurious facade.

The hotel's location is amazing, near the castle. The interiors felt beautiful. The breakfast offered a great mix of traditional Japanese and western style options. The room was huge. the bed was enormous!

I was a little surprised to find not much variety for the room service menu.
