Oyado Koto No Yume offers a unique Japanese Ryokan experience near the Takayama train station and within walking distance of the Hidatakayama Sanmachi historic district. Guests commonly enjoy wearing the provided yukatas and find the rooms spacious, with comfortable futon beds and tatami mats in some. Authentic Japanese Experience

central locationwarm welcomeluggage servicedamp bath mat
I found the location advantageous because of its proximity to the train station. The staff was very attentive, always providing a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious and elegantly presented. I particularly appreciated the variety of Japanese options. The hotel arranged to send our luggage to my next destination, which removed the stress of managing storage lockers.
The public bath experience was somewhat diminished as the bath mat in the family bath was damp. I hoped it would be replaced immediately to ensure better comfort and hygiene for every guest.
