the location was excellent. the double glazed windows ensured my room remained quiet despite the lively surroundings. i refilled my water bottle at the bar, a service i found convenient. the staff promptly offered an extra room when a king bed wasn't available, very thoughtful.

The shower door was broken, opening only partially. It felt very dangerous, especially with a wet floor. An alarm went off twice in the night. It was due to a computer error, so that wasn't ideal.

The lift was broken, forcing me to climb stairs with my luggage. this was really inconvenient. also, the bathroom blind was broken, impacting privacy. the room wasn't the double i booked for my anniversary. It was a twin. this mix-up was disappointing!

The breakfast was NOT great. The service was slow! and the quality was subpar. I waited for ages to get served, and when the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming. The staff seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. There was no apology for the delay, a shame. Paying in advance for breakfast was a MISTAKE.
