difficult tub accessibility issue

the room was larger than expected with a nice view of the sculpted gardens.

the tub was difficult to step into. i was scared each time as i'm pregnant, and i kept grabbing for dear life. i kept thinking what would people with disabilities or elderly do! there was a lack of consideration for accessibility.

lovely grounds delicious buffet inattentive staff water cups

i loved the grounds, they were so lovely. it was so nice to take walks and see the views. the bars and restaurants had a nice choice, too. the buffet had the best breakfast and it was so delicious. i was super impressed!

the cups for water ran out at the spa. i had to ask, like, three times before they brought more up. i think this shouldn't be happening since it cost over £500 a night. the staff could've been a little more attentive i. e getting things up to the room.

the indoor pool at the spa had good leisure facilities. the outdoor pool had heated water and i thought the temperature was better than i expected. i liked the 'beach area' with games for older kids.

the stables restaurant was very busy and not relaxing.

amazing service relaxing break delicious breakfast

the staff provided amazing service. kiri checked me in and answered all questions. breakfast in my room was delicious. i enjoyed a relaxing break.

the shower cubicle had heavy black mold. duty management seemed disinterested in the issue i raised. the discount on my room rate felt inadequate.

the hotel benefits from being surrounded by beautiful grounds, though my visit in june limited outdoor exploration. the setting is peaceful, and ideal for restful experience, away from city noise. i enjoyed the green, well kept spaces.
