the staff was friendly, a welcome change.
I was given a room on the top floor, room 10. it was difficult getting my luggage up 42 steps, especially as i am elderly. There was no lift! plus, i found two long black hairs on the pillow. Both i and my wife have grey hair!

i was greeted warmly and swiftly taken to my lovely room, room was sparkling clean. the bed was very comfy with quality linens. the bathroom looked modern and the third party ev charger on site was very helpful. i had good value for my money.
the room felt bit too warm during the night, it was on the second floor and a bit small.

our room seemed newly refurbished. It was super clean and comfortable. the evening meal in the restaurant was amazing, with delicious food and reasonably priced wine.
The second-floor room was small and overly warm at night. It was not really a problem.

The room was REALLY spacious and clean. The bed was also big. I enjoyed the view over the river Severn, it was surprising. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! It had a GOOD choice and was individually cooked.
The service for the evening meal was VERY disappointing. I walked in and the bar girl said sit down and I'll get someone for you to take your drinks order and bring a menu. It took 22 minutes of waiting before I had to ask for a menu and someone to serve us.

My spacious Beautiful Double Room was awesome the king size bed was super comfy. I appreciated how modern and clean everything was. I also liked the hotel bar and gardens a lot.
The evening meal service was quite slow the bartender was the only one working. I waited quite a long time to get my drinks and order my food the water glass was empty for most of my meal too
