friendly staff ample parking complimentary beer big bath
the staff exhibited friendliness and attentiveness. parking was ample and easily accessible. i found complimentary beer, a very charming touch. the big bath added a touch of luxury.
Some hedge trimming commenced before 8 am right outside the window. A later start might be more considerate.

underwhelming stay, some issues noticed
absent bathrobes inconsistent shower
the promised bathrobes were absent from our room upon arrival. i had to call reception to request them, a slight inconvenience. the shower pressure was also inconsistent. it fluctuated between a trickle and a sudden burst. this, a real letdown.

hot item good service cooking smell extractor fan
the breakfast offered plenty of choice with hot items i found the staff and service to be very good the room was large i appreciated the walk in shower in the en-suite it was necessary for me
our room was situated above the kitchen i experienced a permanent smell of cooking the kitchen extractor fan operated in the early hours this kept me awake

good view wonderful taste short distance cute staff
Our room offered a good view from the balcony it was quite nice. The breakfast selection had many options and everything tasted wonderful. I was kinda surprised to find a park and ride location only a short distance away it made travel easy. The staff was very cute and friendly they were very good too ensure a happy stay.
The hedge trimming began early it was outside our bedroom window.

Riverside Retreat, A Good Stay
convenient location easy bus ride amazing food free parking
The hotel has a convenient location. It is very close to the park and ride. Getting into town on the bus was quite easy, just a quick ride. The food in the bar tasted amazing!!! I had no issues with my meal. There was also free parking, a huge plus.
I have to say, I found a very slight issue during check-in. The restaurant was busy. I had to wait a short time. This was minor. It did not negatively affect my visit.

The breakfast room offers lovely river views, a treat to watch rowers. The food preparation was fast, the food tasted fresh. Many breakfast options are available, so you will find the right meal for yourself.
