Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The George Inn is often praised for its spacious and lovely rooms, some featuring super king-sized beds and amenities like hairdryers, irons, and even Nespresso machines. Many guests appreciate the large, free car park and find the location convenient for visiting Longleat, which is just a short drive away. The outdoor area, complete with a wildlife garden and play area, seems to be a hit, though a few guests have noted that the walls can be a bit thin. A good cooked breakfast also seems to be a common highlight.

An Acceptable Stay

good foodprofessional waitercomfortable bedlow toiletstaff partyclosed pub
The food tasted good and the waiters were professional. The beer garden outside was nice. The bed was comfortable.
The toilet was very low making it difficult to clean myself, though I told the manager about it. I hope it will be resolved. The pub was closed 6pm onwards.

i ate in the restaurant because i was tired after a long journey, however, they were very understaffed. i ordered chunky chips, but i received fries. the lasagne had been cremated.
