i found the staff super hospitable, especially sue at reception. she. the room felt cool, even with the high temperature outside.

The driveway entrance is unlit and getting to the building is poorly lit. the only furniture in the room was a table with a tv and a small bedside cabinet. There was nowhere to hang clothes. there was no hairdryer either. It was a little inconvenient.

i stayed for a few nights and the breakfast was quite good with fresh fruit available. the room was clean and i really liked the quiet atmosphere. it also has a nice garden! the gym has a good range of equipment.

The building itself is beautiful and full of character. the staff was friendly. They gave us a tour and shared the building's history which i found very cute. breakfast was delicious and served in a fine dining room and library with a fascinating view. Such a unique experience, i felt completely charmed.

I noticed a slight moldy smell in the bathroom. The roof also had a hole, and it could use some maintenance. it didn't ruin my stay. it's an area i think should be addressed soon. the room needs some tlc!

The hotel is indeed in a historic Victorian house with a fine dining room with untouched panelling and a beautiful fire surround! I loved having access to both a swimming pool and a gym. The full English breakfast was delicious. It was large and tasty.

The only slight issue was that the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak.

wow, what a good stay!

breakfast had a full english option along with cereals, toast, fruit, and yoghurts i loved the excellent location for my trip. the staff were friendly. the hotel is beautiful, and i had a great weekend (i will definitely be back!).

the hotel rooms need some updating, and i noticed slight dampness issues.
