“This property, with its architecture dating back to the 1400s, presents a unique stay steeped in local history. I noted that while the hotel advertises home-cooked traditional meals, some experiences didn't match those claims, but it still holds a central spot near Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, making it a practical base for explorers.”

Fantastic Stay at a Historic Gem!

perfect locationfriendly staffhot water
The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything. I enjoyed the delicious gluten-free fish and chips for dinner. I really liked it!!! The staff were very friendly and created a warm atmosphere. The building's beauty added to the overall experience.
The hot water was not available for the entirety of my stay, which lasted two nights. This made showering very difficult and quite unpleasant.

the breakfast was acceptable , but nothing special.
our room was not ready until late , impacting our plans. the staff seemed overworked and disorganized , a consequence of them filling multiple roles. the room rate of £190 per night felt excessive considering these issues.
