Rooms and Suites
Stone House Hotel provides 24 guest bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, luxury toiletries, and bath sheets. Rooms include a flat-screen TV with DVD player, radio alarm with iPod & AUX connectivity, and Wi-Fi. Options range from Classic Rooms to Suites. Classic Rooms feature either baths and showers, or a walk-in shower. Conservatory Rooms, located on the ground floor, include a private conservatory opening directly onto the gardens; these rooms are dog-friendly. Superior Rooms offer more space and contain both a bath and shower. Courtyard Rooms, also on the ground floor, provide access to the gardens without entering the main hotel. Four-Poster Rooms, situated in the original part of the house, have a solid oak four-poster bed and south-facing views. Suites are the largest rooms, with a separate bedroom, lounge, and bath or shower room. Many rooms have views of the gardens.

The Stone House Hotel restaurant offers English breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas, and dinners. Beverage options include chilled fresh juices, Aroma special roast coffee, Taylor's of Harrogate Yorkshire tea, and Twining's fruit infusions. The Yorkshire breakfast includes Hammond's of Bainbridge Cumberland sausage and Wensleydale free range eggs. Light lunch options include homemade soup, terrine, and fish or cheese platters. Dinner menus change daily, using ingredients from Yorkshire. Sample dishes include Wensleydale beef in Black Sheep Ale, Gressingham duck breast with butternut puree, and poached cod with roasted cherry tomatoes. Homemade cakes are available in the bar.
Leisure and Activities
Stone House Hotel provides a range of activities. Guests can make use of the Bike Barn, a bike storage facility with bike wash equipment and workshop tools. Fishing is available a short walk from the hotel at the River Ure. Clay pigeon shooting lessons are offered with qualified coaches at Warren Gill. The hotel is near Foulridge Reservior for fishing. Guests can experience part or all of Stage 1 of Le Grand Depart. Electric bikes are available for hire. Walking routes are nearby. Golfing is available at Holes 9, which features a 9-hole mature parkland golf course with the River Burn.

Stone House Hotel is located 1 mile north of Hawes in Wensleydale, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The Yorkshire Dales National Park surrounds the hotel. Durham Tees Valley is 70 km away. The hotel is within reach of the M6 (23 miles to the west via the A684, Junction 37) and A1. Landmarks nearby include Hawes Ropemakers (1.5 km), Hardraw Force (1.5 km), and Buttertubs Pass (5 km).
