Charming Hotel with Heartfelt Hospitality

My four-night stay included fine views of the market square, a true highlight. The hotel has wonky stairs. I felt the building's deep history. The staff welcomed guests like family. Offers of help meant everything. The location is perfect. I took photos of the peaceful walks by the river.

The lamps lacked easily accessible switches. I had to get out of bed to reach the cord.

The warm welcome included smiles and offers to help with our luggage upon arrival. the food was amazing. I found the portions plentiful. the range for dietary requirements was great, which i appreciate. the staff work diligently to ensure guests feel welcome.

i found the check-out time at 10 am a bit early, particularly since check-in wasn't until 3 pm.

The staff were helpful, and the location was very good.

My room was not very clean, (a bit of a letdown) and the floorboards creaked loudly whenever I moved around. The noise was quite noticeable, especially at night, and made it difficult to relax properly.

Helen and her husband, alongside all the staff, were cute. We were soaked from a rainy hike on the coast to coast trail. The pub seating was cozy. Dinner was AMAZING!!!

lovely food great atmosphere small room unliked sink

the staff was knowledgeable of the local area. they were cute. the bar atmosphere was great too. the restaurant provided lovely dinner and breakfast.

i didn't like the room. i felt claustrophobic in it. the sink was not to my liking either.
