i found the staff friendly and efficient. my room had a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. the breakfast offered a good selection (i especially liked the pastries).

charming village retreat

wonderful staff complimentary pass friendly staff yorkshire dales
The hotel provided complimentary passes for bolton abbey. i found every staff member super friendly. the sheep parade created a UNIQUE alarm call. I liked it. the hotel manager and staff made sure everything was spot on. THE views of the yorkshire dales were fantastic.
My room needed more attention. A cobweb existed in the corner. a dead spider was present in the bath.

idyllic retreat with lovely views

amazing views luxurious bed linens delicious canapés
the suite offered amazing views from the window seating area it had two armchairs facing the fells and river the queen bed provided a perfect sleep experience with luxurious bed linens the en-suite bathroom featured both a bath and a shower. early evening canapés made and served by catering college students were both delicious and plentiful a real delight
during our stay i noticed a lack of coziness in the bar restaurant and reception areas it was a bit disappointing i had hoped for a warmer inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel.

friendly staff delicious food amazing job
I loved staying there! the staff showed warmth and friendliness. the food was delicious! breakfast and dinner were both amazing. The chef and his team did a fabulous job.
The reception area seemed a little cramped right at the entrance to the bar. It slightly impacted the initial impression.
