Augill Castle, a 19th-century neo-Gothic structure, is situated between the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria's Lake District, four miles from Kirkby Stephen. Rooms feature antique furnishings and offer views of the Yorkshire Dales and Lakeland Fells. Accommodations include castle rooms, some with four-poster beds, and suites in the main building or estate houses. Each room includes free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, and tea/coffee facilities. Bathrooms provide free toiletries; select rooms have fireplaces. The spacious suites have a sitting area and garden views, and some rooms include wine or champagne. Some rooms are suitable for families.
