street noise cramped room

The location was central, I will admit. The noise from the street at night became bothersome after midnight. Shouting and general commotion continued for hours. A small double bed was in the cosy double room and it felt very cramped. I did not enjoy my stay.

warm welcome tasty dishes friendly staff

The welcome was warm and accommodating. the dinner offered great value with tasty dishes. i found the staff to be very friendly. They looked after every need promptly. the cooked breakfast had lots of options (i liked the fresh fruit).

the room lacked water and milk. i probably wouldn't have booked if i knew about the live music and busy pub since it was noisy and the sound carried upstairs to the room.

my room included quality bed sheets. the duvet and pillows felt exquisite. the room had comfortable armchairs where i could relax (it was a nice touch).

the location was pretty good. the staff was very cute. there was a quaint outside seating area.

the bathroom mirror had no light directly above. it steamed up badly. there were no choice of cereals, only granola.

helpful staff smoked salmon live music loud noise

the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast included smoked salmon on scrambled eggs with toast and tasty orange juice.

i advise against an overnight stay on a friday night. live music played between 8pm and 10pm, followed by loud music. there was little chance of sleep before midnight because i could hear the noise in the bedrooms.
