“Stamford Plaza Melbourne presents a compelling proposition: generously sized suites, many with full kitchens, positioned for city exploration. While some elements show expected wear, attentive staff and a rooftop pool area contribute to a stay that emphasizes space and practical luxury. In my view, it's a solid choice for travelers who value room to spread out in a central location.”

central stay
perfect location decent tv housekeeping option walking distance
The location was fantastic. i could easily walk to the cbd area and everything was very close. the room had a decent tv, i was able to watch movies after a long day. i liked the housekeeping option. I could just press a button to request or decline service.
The bar closed rather early. I wanted a drink after a show but couldn't get one at the hotel. (i should have checked the closing time.)
Service
9/10
The staff were very helpful and kind. I felt special. the lifts worked super fast. i received great assistance with directions and local recommendations. The team helped enhance my stay.
Rooms
8/10
the room was spacious and very clean. the bed was comfortable. the option to adjust the room's climate was easy to use (this is a simple but useful feature).
Location
10/10
the hotel's location provided easy access to trams. it also allows for convenient walks around the central business district. the proximity to key attractions made exploring the city easy.
Dining
9/10
the breakfast was good (especially the pancakes!). the hotel also has a downstairs bar. i saw it had live music during happy hour, and it was showing football on tv.

convenient location comfortable bed separate toilet dated room slow aircon ordinary breakfast
The location was very convenient , close to theaters and the CBD. I found my room very quiet and the bed comfortable. The separate toilet was a plus , and I appreciated the bathroom lighting and bench space.
My room felt a bit dated and had a slight odor. The air conditioning struggled initially . It took about five hours for the temperature to drop just one degree. Breakfast was ordinary , which I did not expect.

acceptable stay, some issues noticed
inconvenient supplies lackluster service
the tv did not stream any services. i also had to request kitchen supplies at reception. it took 20 minutes for a cutting board and knife to arrive (a bit inconvenient). this service did not seem worthy of a so-called five-star hotel.
