“This boutique hotel occupies a Grade II listed building, placing guests within steps of Chichester's cultural core. While some rooms may present space constraints, the overall experience is elevated by attentive service and a notable restaurant, The Ship, emphasizing locally sourced cuisine. I think its subterranean spa, although a surprising feature in such a historic structure, contributes to a well-rounded wellness offering.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Harbour Hotel & Spa Chichester garners praise for its prime location, convenient for exploring Chichester's attractions like the Cathedral and the Festival Theatre. Many guests find the rooms nicely decorated and appreciate the comfortable beds, sometimes even enjoying complimentary gin. Breakfast is frequently described as exceptional, though some have noted that the English breakfast buffet doesn't quite live up to the hype, and a few guests found the standard rooms quite small.

A Satisfactory Stay

excellent location spacious bathroom ice bucket spa facilities
The location was excellent. I was not far from the Cathedral. The hotel is well maintained. The bathroom was spacious and modern, I liked the bath and shower combination.
I was disappointed I asked for an ice bucket twice and did not receive it. I was also disappointed that I was not told about the spa facilities. I had to leave the hotel not long after arriving because there was a wedding on, so I went to the local park.

helpful bar staff excellent location available lift tiny bathroom street noise limited parking
The hotel has a lift available needing assistance with stairs. The location IS excellent. It is perfect for exploring nearby streets. I appreciated the helpfulness of the bar staff during a late visit to the bar.
The bathroom WAS quite tiny, which proved to be a bit inconvenient. Street noise was noticeable in my room. Closing the window made it stuffy due to the lack of air conditioning. I found the car park situation less than ideal. There were only about ten spaces, and i had to pay extra elsewhere.
