the room was amazing (it was an island shangri-la beautiful peak view king room!). it had a great view from the higher floor. the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a separate shower and bathtub.

the elevators were sometimes slow, so i had to wait a few minutes. the gym, while well-equipped, got crowded during peak hours. the lobby had a distinct fragrance that i found a bit overpowering.

convenient location easy exploration excellent dining

the location was excellent and near the peak tramway. i found it easy to explore the island (nearby areas were easily accessible). i appreciated the shopping center beneath the hotel, offering designer shops and good dining options.

The smell in the lobby was not pleasant. It smelled like a public restroom. i found this quite off-putting (it even gave me a slight headache). i suggest the hotel revisit its choice of fragrance.

The rooms offer motion-activated night lights. That was convenient. I found outlets beside the side tables. A divine shower offered a rain showerhead, and they had a heated mirror. The room's cleanliness was excellent and contributed to a comfortable stay. This was important.

I had to wait twenty minutes for a taxi, it was a bit long. This was a SLIGHT inconvenience, especially when eager to leave. Locals seemed to be favored at the concierge.
