I enjoyed the live music at the lobby bar. The atmosphere was quite fun! the drinks were well-made and delicious. the hotel was upscale.
my phone recharging was a challenge because plug sockets were in awkward places.

The location is in the heart of the vibrant commercial district. I had a room with a city view and appreciated it. The room included a stocked mini bar with complimentary soft drinks and water , which was useful after long days.
The soundproofing could be improved . I could sometimes hear noise from neighboring rooms.

mixed feelings about the stay

central locationlack of soundproofingdamp smell
the hotel location is central, it's very handy for exploring.
The room lacked proper soundproofing. other guests returning late and the bar music kept me up. the room smelled like food and damp. I suspect the restaurant, drains, or air conditioning were to blame.

nice stylered cocktailsgreat location
the hotel had a nice style and the employees provided good service. red rose cocktails tasted great. the location proved great for exploring chinatown. i found the live music in the bar downstairs quite enjoyable, but it went on a bit late.
my room was small and it felt a bit cramped. the bathroom tiles felt slippery. i had to put towels down in the shower.

dark roomtired rooms
the room had no outside-facing windows, just some looking into the hotel's center. this, even in the suite we had. also, the live music went on until late, around 11:30 pm, and i could clearly hear it from my room. i expected a different experience given the photos online, finding a somewhat worn hotel, and tired rooms upon arrival.
