The room had a very large bed. This was clean with a spacious bathroom.

The first greeting was cold, I thought. Far too much information was given in quick succession. The breakfast greeting also seemed rude.. it's a shame.

The main room window was not operational, so I could not open it to reduce humidity, though a fan was provided.

Wonderful Riverside Stay

I found the hotel's position overlooking the river to be beautiful. The gardens was very well kept. Our room offered extra touches like the small milk carton for fresh milk from the bar and chocolates. The personalised greeting.

Our room's bottled water was not replaced .

Lesley and her team provided excellent and friendly service during breakfast. Louise and her waiting staff were equally attentive during the evening meal. An extensive choice of food was available.

The staff greeted me warmly and were always ready to help. the evening meal featured seabass and king prawn risotto. It was really good. i found quality tea and coffee in the room, as well as green and black's chocolate bars.

my superior room experienced some issues , like the main window not being operational and difficult to open to keep humidity down.

the staff were friendly and efficient throughout my visit. breakfast offered ample choices and the quality was very good each morning. my room was super clean it had nice tea and coffee facilities.

the bar closed slightly earlier than i would have preferred restricting my evening relaxation time a little.
