the modern design was acceptable.
the car park was closed when i arrived and i received no prior warning about this. staff seemed to have little knowledge or offered much advice about alternatives. the shower was not fully functional either.

I liked the easy access to the train station. It was just a short trip to liverpool for only a few pounds. the breakfast had many options and was plentiful. i also got a welcome drink, and that was a really nice touch. beds were comfy too.
the hotel car park being closed was an issue. i did not receive prior notice about it. staff provided little advice.
