spacious room , central location

beautiful garden golden sunlight

the room was big and comfortable , i appreciated the two different atmospheres. after a long day , i could relax on the sofa while looking at the beautiful garden. the golden sunlight entered through the windows , i felt very lucky with the weather.

i arrived by tram from the airport , and it was raining. i was told that they did not expect any guests at this time. i was not allowed to leave my bags behind , which was inconvenient.

the staff was responsive and outgoing , offering assistance with various needs. the warm welcome. the check-in process was smooth , i had no issues at all.

the breakfast provided a great start to the day, it felt both healthy and decadent. i appreciated the continental breakfast in the lovely dining room. the variety of options catered to different tastes.

the building itself had a fine staircase and character. i found the location to be convenient , close to the shopping center. the hotel offered a beautiful atmosphere for a relaxed stay.

superb stay

helpful staff separate lounge king size bed

the staff were fantastic and very helpful. i could drop my bag off early, convenient. the room was excellent with a separate lounge area, beautifully decorated. it also had a super king size bed.

i arrived early by tram, it was raining heavily. the reception told me i could not wait in the lobby. i also could not leave my bags, so i had to wait outside in the rain.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

My arrival was not ideal. I arrived slightly before the check-in time and was told I could not wait inside, even though it was raining. There was also noticeable street noise at night, which disrupted my sleep. These issues impacted my overall experience.

the staff explained everything well upon my arrival. the location is great for accessing the tram to murrayfield. the room was also very nice and neat.

There was no cooked breakfast option. That was disappointing. the absence of tea-making facilities was also quite disappointing. i had to go out to the landing to make a small cup of tea.
