The breakfast reminded me of a warm hug each morning. the staff delivered it with such kindness, and it really made my day begin beautifully. i appreciate the cozy atmosphere and the delicious scottish options. the location worked wonderfully. It was close to bus stops.

the room felt quite small. i have a lot of luggage with me and it was difficult to find space for everything. the bathroom felt a little dated and not as sparkling clean as i hoped. the wifi connection faltered sometimes.

I found excellent transport links via bus to the city center. David's warm welcome at reception, and the breakfast cooked to order was delicious. The off-street parking was a definite bonus. I also appreciated the Indian restaurant down the road. It was fabulous.

I noticed the kettle took a long time to start boiling, a minor inconvenience.

The room i got (i booked a twin room) felt quite cramped. i noticed some wear and tear. The bathroom grout was a bit moldy, and one of the lamps flickered annoyingly. breakfast service also felt a bit slow one morning. it took a while to get someone's attention for coffee refills, and my toast arrived quite late.
