this traditional hotel is located near a cool micro brewery, so that's already a win. the family room had everything we needed, en-suite bathroom, coffee, even secure bike storage! the staff really made the difference and the food was amazing. i felt i got real value for my money.

fantastic stay with superb breakfast!

The hotel staff accommodated our request to bring our dogs. I felt very welcome in the bar. staff members are friendly and they made a fuss of the dogs. food was excellent as usual. the room was comfortable, and i could adjust the temperature with a radiator and an opening window (unlike some other hotels i've visited).

The bed was large and comfy. i could feel two mattresses pushed together, which isn't ideal if you want to sleep in the middle of the bed (a minor inconvenience, really).

the room was beautifully decorated and very clean. it featured a good-sized ensuite. there was also a good powerful shower. the room was bigger than i expected.
