the staff provided a warm welcome , and the food in the pub was fabulous. off-road parking was available , a convenient feature. the drinks selection at the bar was good , with varied options.
the tv was positioned at a 90-degree angle from the bed , it made viewing difficult. the room heating was controlled by a timer , i found this inconvenient. the room was cold upon arrival , it took time to heat up.

The staff were very friendly. The owners created a cute atmosphere. The location worked well for my travel plans heading north.
The hotel didn't turn on the heating before my arrival. The room grew cold as a result. The TV was mounted at an awkward angle relative to the bed making viewing difficult.

quality producedelicious foodawkward angle
the breakfast included locally sourced, good quality produce, so the food tasted amazing. jasper the dog makes a wonderful host. i enjoyed the excellent food. the good value for money.
the tv was positioned at a ninety degree angle from the bed! this made watching it from the bed rather difficult. i wish it had been positioned directly in front of the bed.
