Acceptable Stay with a Few Issues

shabby bathroomnoisy cistern
I noticed some cobwebs around the doorway. The bathroom felt a little shabby and the toilet cistern continued to run long after flushing, THIS was a nuisance. Breakfast was served for only one hour and checkout happened too early at 10am.

lovely stay near the golf courses

outdoor furnitureexcellent serviceonsite familygreat location
i found outdoor furniture available for sitting and enjoying the gardens. the family that owns the place stays onsite, i was like extended family . the breakfast room was a perfect size, and i chatted with a couple visiting from australia. i would stay again because of the great location and excellent service (the host cared).
the room was quite small, and this was slightly inconvenient. i had to put one case inside the wardrobe, and another case on an upholstered stool. i needed more space for my belongings .

Acceptable Stay with Disappointing Aspects

lovely gardensbasic breakfastcold room
The gardens were lovely.
The breakfast was quite basic. A full Scottish breakfast was not an option. Our room was cold. The radiator was not on. For the price paid, I expected more.

small roomdusty wardrobe
The room felt small for the price. Storing luggage proved difficult as there was minimal space. I also noticed dust on top of the wardrobe it needed cleaning before I could store anything there. I found the lack of a desk area inconvenient and the Roman blinds did not block out enough light.
