A Beachside Jewel

The proximity to the train station is a true blessing, also the nearby beach is wonderful. Staff allowed me to check in early, which helped a lot. A Coop is very close. It is just a brief walk.

The bathroom ceiling had peeling paint. The shower button also looked a bit dirty.

I found the staff very cute. Reception, breakfast service, and room maintenance teams provided great traditional scottish hospitality. breakfast included lovely arbroath smokie with poached eggs (the strawberries and raspberries were fresh!). the location is fabulous. It is right next to the esplanade. the train station being close made travel easy.

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to both the train station and the beach. The staff allowed an early check-in and bag drop-off, appreciated (i needed that!). There is a Coop grocery store just a short walk away, very useful. Breakfast had good portions of well-cooked food and fresh fruit.
