Acceptable but Flawed Stay

The decor throughout the guesthouse presented beautifully.

My sleep was unsatisfactory because of the bed. It felt too firm. Breakfast service was slow. I waited an excessive amount of time for it.

the room was spacious. it had a big comfortable bed. the shower room was huge with luxury toiletries.

Les lits , une tuerie, surtout pour les hanches et le dos. pas dormi. le service ultra long du dîner et du petit déjeuner. l'entrée du soir juste un scandale , truite (je vous passe ce qui va avec) , 2cm sur 3cm pour une attente de 45minutes , une blague ! il vaut mieux dire au client qu'il n'y en a plus et on passe à une autre entrée. ça arrive, c'est pas grave. ce qui l'est c'est de servir ce que vous nous avez servi! au prix que vous facturez, on s'attend franchement à autre chose. 3 plats en 2 heures, c'est très long même pour des français. le lendemain, à 30 secondes près nous partions sans prendre le petit déjeuner que nous avions commandé. 2 table, une de 2 personnes et nous (4) , 45 minutes d'attente. pas d'excuse soir et matin . Ça a l'air normal !

The room was super clean, I found this very reassuring. The breakfast was superb. The ingredients tasted fresh. Dinner was also delicious. I especially enjoyed the fish. I appreciated the drinks menu. There was a good selection.

The location is great. It's close to eating options. There is also a lovely river walk nearby. I was kinda surprised by this amenity. I liked walking by the river.

My room WAS beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. I slept very well , i appreciated having a very relaxing room. Everything you could possibly need IS available.

There are beautiful lounges in the hotel. I enjoyed having a glass of wine. The whole place is very peaceful, i appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The dining room is also immaculate.

an acceptable stay

warm welcome beautiful presentation delicious meals shower issue upgrade unfinished hand grip

gary welcomed us upon arrival. the room was presented beautifully it was also well equipped. the meals showed a lot of thought i thought they were delicious.

the bath had a shower over it it was only for one night so it was fine. i discussed maybe a hand grip on the wall above the bath. gary explained all upgrades had not been finished.
