“Glenisla Hotel stands out as a characterful place to stay near Blairgowrie and Rattray, offering an authentic taste of the Scottish countryside. Originally a coaching inn from the 1700s, the hotel retains a rustic charm, while also providing direct access to the Cateran Trail and close proximity to Glenshee Ski Centre. In my opinion, its blend of historical ambiance, local cuisine, and outdoor activities makes it a particularly appealing base for exploring the Angus Glens.”
