Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hotel La Maison Bord'Eaux is appreciated for its roomy accommodations, with some guests enjoying bright, spacious rooms on upper floors that feature terraces and beautiful town views. A highlight for many is the convenience of on-site parking (€20/night), especially since street parking is limited, and its location within a 10-15 minute walk to the town center and near a park. While some have noted the small size of the toilet room, the hotel also offers a courtyard, providing a pleasant outside sitting space.

Really good Stay with Convenient Access

convenient locationeasy walklovely staffflat city
I found the hotel to be in a very convenient location. It was an easy walk to many shops and a supermarket. a Roman ruin was right across the street. The staff were accommodating and lovely and I particularly appreciated the tram stop being only about ten minutes away, though walking into town was also easy because the city is very flat.
The only slight downside was the hotel parking being a little overpriced. I ended up parking on the street outside.
Location
9/10
The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and a supermarket, a short walk from the main city centre. The Jardin Public is a couple blocks away and the Chartrons area is easily accessible. I found the location felt okay all time, allowing me to walk everywhere with ease.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast included a variety of fresh items, such as bread, croissants, meats and cheeses (especially the croissants!). The courtyard offered a lovely space to enjoy a cheeseboard and wine in the afternoon.
Rooms
9/10
My room was nice and clean, and it looked newly renovated with new fixtures. The bed was very comfortable and I had an comfy bed, a desk and chair. There were also two easy chairs provided for reading or enjoying tea.
Facilities
9/10
The bathroom was lovely and it had a separate room for the toilet plus a lovely shower. The hotel offered the option to not have fresh towels every day, which I thought was very considerate. It provided secure parking.
Service
10/10
The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and their English was excellent. Suzanne, in particular, was helpful with advice on local attractions and navigation of the tram system. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and available.
