“The building exudes history, a 200-year-old structure with intriguing architectural details; inside, you'll find rooms blending modern tech with comfort, some boasting underfloor heating and coffee machines. I think its location in Bakewell, with easy access to Peak District attractions, makes it a solid choice for families and couples. check-in confusionroom downgrade
Finding the check-in area reminded me of a treasure hunt without a map. I just wandered into the busy bar and hoped for the best. Staff seemed too preoccupied pouring pints to deal with guests. My 'family beautiful room' turned out to be a standard room, right next to a lively beer garden. The noise made a good night's sleep impossible.
