The breakfast was excellent. A GREAT choice of breakfast goodies awaited me. The room was lovely and clean. Beds were very comfortable.

The food tasted disgustingly salty. The beef bourguinon had only a tiny bit of potato. It came in a pasta bowl. The steak and prawn skewer was POOR. Four thin pieces of steak were well done.

the staff were very friendly, ready with helpful advice. i found the food to be very good, especially the breakfast with its excellent selection. the chef offered to make a nut roast, a thoughtful gesture i really appreciated.

the room i had was quite small and felt a bit dated. i also noticed the bedding was not changed . the noise from the creaky floors did affect my sleep a little.

The room's decor seemed dated it needed a refresh. The bathroom lacked a functional outlet I could not use my shaver there. The pastries at breakfast tasted stale that was disappointing.
