Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the beautiful, spacious rooms, particularly the King's Room, which boasts lovely garden views. The full English breakfast is a highlight, often featuring yummy veggie sausages and Auntie Belinda's marmalade. The property's Tudor architecture, connections to Hampton Court, and proximity to Heathrow Airport are also frequently mentioned, along with its garden that has a hidden wooden bridge and stream. Some guests have noted that communal areas could occasionally be tidier.

Decent stay, some issues with cleanliness

uneven floors communal areas
I found some issues with the shared spaces. The communal areas needed some tlc. The floors in the room were uneven, actually. It could be a hazard (especially if you aren't steady on your feet!).

UNIQUE and quirky stay

friendly owners amazing breakfast comfy bed
The owners were super friendly. The breakfast was also amazing. I had a GREAT breakfast, indeed! Beds were mega comfy, SO that's a big plus. I loved the place and will definitely try to go back.
I noticed that the communal areas could use a little sprucing. IT felt a bit untidy.

Charming Historical Stay

vegan breakfast plant-based milk sizeable car park
The breakfast was a definite highlight. Tom freshly cooked a lovely vegan-friendly breakfast each morning for me , which was delicious. I was also offered plant-based milk for my room for tea and coffee upon arrival, a nice touch. The hotel has a nice-sized car park out front and a lovely large garden area to the rear.
