adequate stay with a few drawbacks

The room i booked was not what i expected. i reserved a suite with a garden view, but i received a room in the basement. it had no natural light and the so-called garden view was a concrete wall with plastic plants. the staff did not seem to care much about my problem and tried to downplay it. Their limited english skills were also a problem.

The room service was not up to par. Many basic items were missing. bottled water had a charge from the concierge. there were no amenities in the bathroom unless you asked for them specifically, also from the concierge. i think the hotel is cutting corners and it shows. the staff was friendly! but the wi-fi was slow.

the staff was friendly and helpful. i appreciated that the hotel was clean and well maintained. our room offered a greenery view from the bath, a wonderful experience.

the power went out one night. the emergency light came on in the room. reception said they couldn't say when the power would return.
