stuffy room air conditioning policy

The room was STUFFY. I asked reception about it. I learned the hotel does not turn on air conditioning unless the temperature exceeds 20C. The manager offered drinks vouchers. I declined because it was late and i had an early flight.

the free shuttle runs frequently to the terminals. it was easy to locate at the airport and very convenient. i found the room to be quite spacious, especially for a quick overnight stay. the beds were comfortable, i got a good night's sleep before my early flight.

the decor in the room feels a bit dated, though well kept.

Okay stay near the airport, BUT SOME issues

bad food quality japanese signage

The buffet dinner was disappointing. I think I caught the end of service. The food quality was REALLY bad for the price. I ate only rice and pasta for the equivalent of $60 aud. Drinks were included, and I poured myself what looked like lemonade. it turns out it had gin, even though it was NOT obvious. I was then billed 1,000 yen ON top of that. All signage was in japanese.

The breakfast was good and had a lot of options. It was a buffet.

The room felt small and a bit outdated for a 4-star hotel. i couldn't fully open my suitcase because of the limited space. the decor needed updating. It didn't quite meet expectations.

The airport shuttle bus service was punctual and efficient. I appreciated the driver's help with luggage. The hotel offers a convenient store on the first floor, open 24 hours. It was easy to grab snacks and drinks at any time. The room TV allowed access to streaming services, a nice touch.

The room's heating system seemed to only blow hot air. There was no temperature setting.
