breakfast buffet key attraction friendly staff
The breakfast buffet was AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed the wide variety of choices. The location is central. It allows easy access to many key attractions. I found the staff at the reception desk to be very friendly and efficient.
The minibar made a slight noise at night, so I unplugged it.

charming sablon stay
free caramels coffee facilities
the hotel has a really nice welcome area with free caramels. our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, so i felt right at home. i loved the tea and coffee facilities in the room.
there was a massive gap underneath the door of the room. this meant light from the corridor radiated in all night. (it was quite annoying)

friendly staff shop recommendations clean rooms food access overcrowded breakfast restaurant hours
the staff at the reception was friendly. their shop recommendations nearby were great. rooms were okay and clean.
i found no access to food after 9:30 pm. breakfast was nice but terribly overcrowded. i was lucky to have a drink at the hotel restaurant at 9:20 pm, but i couldn't stay.

noisy minibar roaming costs
The location worked for me. I even got coffee in the room, such a luxury.
The minibar apparently moonlights as a refrigerator repair shop because it was making so much noise. I had to unplug the darn thing just to get some sleep. Then, the phone didn't work, so I had to use my own mobile and pay for roaming costs just to call the reception. I thought that was a bit much.

the room had a strong unpleasant smell it seemed to come from the bathroom i also noticed small flies there the bed linen had stains i expected better cleanliness for the price

Mixed feelings about my stay
bad smell room uncleanliness
The location was good. It was close to the train station.
The room cleanliness was concerning. There was a REALLY bad smell in the room and small flies in the bathroom. I suspect the hotel knew about this issue beforehand, as others have mentioned it.
