Really good stay in Central Area
central location wine glasses luxurious bedding
The location was central. I walked to many attractions (Covent Garden was my favorite). The hotel provided wine glasses and a shaker in my room. I found a Nespresso machine and fresh cream in the fridge. A nice touch. The staff was impeccably dressed and cute. The bedding felt luxurious, and the room amenities were superb.
The air conditioning in my room could not be switched off. I had to call the reception to ask a technician to switch it off.

The front desk staff were helpful and offered a warm welcome upon arrival. I appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to answer questions. Marie France at the front bar was great.

This hotel is in a quiet area of Covent Garden. It is a short walk to attractions. Holborn tube station is also moments away. The hotel is near many stores and restaurants.

I found the check-in process efficient. Staff provided a welcome drink upon arrival. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The live music in the bar added atmosphere.

mixed feelings about this stay
small detail desolate common area
the room lacked attention to detail i did not feel it was a five star experience there was no table for room service so i had to balance my meal on the bed the mini bar was not stocked adequately with only water provided on a cold night the common areas seemed desolate with no atmosphere

Mixed Experience, Understaffed Bar and Room Issues

The hotel had modern and clean facilities, which I appreciated
The bar service was slow due to it being understaffed. I often walked away. The in-room mini bar was supposed to be stocked with complimentary soft drinks. It was empty and remained that way despite informing reception twice. I was disappointed by these oversights given the cost of the stay.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
understaffed bar slow service
The room was modern. (The design was okay, I guess.)
The bar was understaffed, and it was hard to get service. We tried to order drinks before an event, but after waiting a long time, we had to leave without them because the bartender was too busy. This made us late and was frustrating after paying so much for the hotel.
