faulty air conditioningill-fitting door

The air conditioning unit was problematic. It could not be permanently turned off. i woke up cold the first night and had to switch it off multiple times. the second night, i was too hot, despite turning it off, it reactivated after an hour or so (reception confirmed i was operating it correctly). the entry door did not sit properly in the latch. strong wind on the second night caused the door to bang, sounding like someone was trying to get in. I wedged key cards between the door and the frame to stop it.

The staff was very friendly. my one-bedroom suite had most things i needed and included slight views of the harbor. the gym was well-equipped and clean. It was great to have access to it.

I found the area somewhat noisy during the night. I could hear street noise , made it a little difficult to sleep at times.

The location provided great access to the city without the intense city center atmosphere. i found the price appropriate for the room i received. the north sydney train station was a short walk, about 3 minutes. victoria cross metro station is also nearby. Denison street entrance provides access.

during my stay, i noticed that only two of the four lifts were operational, causing longer wait times and crowded conditions.
