Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy offers rooms with a wide-screen LCD TV with cable and radio channels. Superior Rooms are 32sqm and include king or twin bed configurations. Deluxe Rooms are 32sqm and feature king or twin beds. Executive Rooms, at 32sqm, are located on the highest two floors (levels 16 and 17), offering views of Katong and the sea, or on level 4 with views of the pool. Junior Suites offer 52sqm of space with a bedroom and living room and sea views. Studio Suites provide 50sqm, while Business Suites feature 54sqm with a work desk. Room features include microgel and feather pillows, microfiber duvets, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Amenities provided are bathroom slippers, bathrobes, a work desk and chair, coffee and tea making facilities, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Dining Options
The hotel has multiple dining options. Feast Roxy features an All-Day Menu including Diving Laksa River Prawn and Possible Chicken-less Basil Rice. Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant provides Chinese cuisine. Roxy Divine offers pastries and sandwiches. Breez Bistro Bar, located on the 4th floor by the pool, features Halal and Western cuisine, plus a selection of drinks. Guests can sample freshly prepared omelettes and local Asian dishes. The Barramundi fish served in the set lunch is locally farmed. Club Lounge members receive complimentary drinks and snacks from 6pm - 8pm daily at Breez Bar, otherwise, mini canapés and snacks are available for $18++.
Leisure and Entertainment
Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy has a pool, baby pool, and sun decks on level 4. The Fitness Centre on level 4 is equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes, a stair climber, free weights, and strength training equipment. Operating hours are 24 hours daily via room keycard access. A launderette with coin and token-operated facilities is located on Level 4, with tokens available at the Concierge for $7.00 per wash and dry, detergent included.
Location and Transport
Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy is located in Katong, 15 km from Changi Airport. The hotel is located near Marine Parade Station (TE26) on the Thomson-East Coast Line. East Coast Park is a short walk away. Bus stops are nearby, served by bus numbers 10, 12, 14, 15, 31, 32, 36, 40, 43, 48, 134, 135, 196, 197, and 966.
Services Offered
Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy offers several services. The East Coast Function Room on level 3 can accommodate up to 30 tables and can be divided into six meeting rooms. The Roxy Function Rooms on Level 4 can accommodate up to 10 tables, or be arranged into two smaller rooms: Roxy 1 and Roxy 2. Guests staying in Executive rooms and suites have access to the Executive Lounge on Level 17. Water dispensers are located on all floors. A water bottle is available for purchase from the Front Office for S$5.
