unclear signage tired decor

The parking situation reminded me of a trap. I received a hefty fine for a brief stop in the car park. The signage was not clear at all. the room decor was somewhat worn and tired. It could use a refresh to match the rest of the hotel's ambiance.

ignored request dated room

the air conditioning WAS , lets just say , non-existent. i requested firm pillows, which seems like a simple request , but these were IGNORED. the room felt quite dated and lacked sufficient plug sockets , WHICH is really inconvenient in this day and age.

parking payment rude receptionist

the room decor looked lovely the beds were very comfortable

i was emailed earlier this year they said the hotel had gone through a full refurbishment i don't see it also they now demand payment for parking i was never asked before the receptionist was very rude she couldn't actually answer when this new rule came in

ok stay with AC PROBLEMS

aircon problems bathroom extractor

the gym IS a massive WIN i'd have to look for an alternative if it wasn't there.

the aircon in our first room didnt work and so we were moved to another room. however, the aircon didnt work in the new room either, with it blowing on full throughout the day and all night for 48 hours and still it was only as cold as my breath. the bathroom extractor fan didnt come on so the bathroom steamed up very quickly.

The receptionist was helpful. She assisted with a minor issue during check-in.

The air conditioning barely worked. It was quite stuffy in the room. the hotel now charges for parking, a fact not clearly communicated upon arrival. I feel this should be included in the room rate or mentioned more prominently.

i found the staff very polite. they was helpful too. the room service was quick. i will return again soon. food was very nice.

the headboard covering was falling to pieces and bits of it were all over the uncomfortable pillows, it was bad.
