“Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa has potential, particularly with its Cheshire woodland setting and proximity to Chester, but seems to need investment to match its four-star billing. The spa facilities appear to be a highlight, though inconsistently implemented across the property. For now, the value seems tied more to the location than to the overall hotel experience.”
