the location was amazing. the free registered car parking was convenient (a real plus in this area). i was given an upgrade to a beautiful double room and enjoyed a fantastic river view.
i noticed the bar closed rather early at 9.30pm.

river views hot food comfortable bed
my room had wonderful views of the river and wier. breakfast offered many choices with hot food and a continental selection. the evening meal in the restaurant tasted very good. the bed felt very comfortable.
the absence of an elevator made carrying luggage a bit difficult especially since the staff did not always offer assistance upon arrival.

fantastic stay near the thames
varied option separate shower winter spice
The breakfast was good with varied options. i liked the nice big bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. the staff in the dining room were all very cute. Their help was appreciated. it felt warm due to the christmas decorations. The scent of winter spice was wonderful.
The receptionist did not welcome us much. they barely looked up from the computer. It was not a great start.
