karim greeted me so well. we had an excellent meal in the restaurant and the conservatory offered a lovely view of the lake. i will definitely be staying again.

i noticed the attention to detail for someone with reduced mobility is poor. adapted bathrooms have only a double bed and the wet room shower floor floods the bathroom. ihg needs to look at the disabled facilities.

Facilities

the swimming pool is accessible to all guests and the play area provides entertainment for children. there is also a spa complex, where you can book a massage with anna or shara. hot stones were available for my massage at a good temperature.

Service

10/10

karim at the front desk was very kind and helpful upon arrival. zofshan gave me the most relaxing hot stone massage and it was a great first experience. bridget treated us like friends and was a very pleasant woman.

Rooms

9/10

the room was spotlessly clean and included an comfortable bed. the bathroom had a separate bath and shower and quality toiletries were supplied. there were also usb ports for tv connectivity, as well as french plugs for pcs.

Location

the hotel is on the edge of the town, offering a good and quiet location. there is a lovely conservatory to sit and relax with a drink. this provides a lovely view of the lake and surrounding area.

The staff was very helpful! hakim, a receptionist, extended our parking so we could return for afternoon tea. he also extended our checkout time, which i appreciated. for dinner, we chose the three-course indian menu. The portion and taste completely satisfied us.

i contacted the hotel with a query regarding a pending amount. i had to navigate through the website and a lengthy conversation with a mediator who ultimately couldn't resolve my issue.
